One of the parts of the home that is looked at the most but often overlooked are the windows.  What do I mean by that?Well we always use our windows everyday to bring in light or to bring in fresh air.But the thing that we ignore about it is that sometimes it is already too old and it may have been costing us money already.So in this article we are going to look at ways on how to save money through our windows.

So why are you wasting money with single paned windows? Because they aren’t energy efficient.It makes your house hooter during the summertime so you would spend more energy by using the air conditioning unit more.And during the winter season no heat would be retained in the house so you would have to use more heater.So during the two seasons you would be using more enrgy leading to more energy costs.  The customers of my glass company San Diego are shocked to find this out but it is true.  So installing more energy efficent glass will save you money.

Strange but true but this is also the case in your bathrooms.If you have a glass shower then you may save more on energy costs.  That is shocking to my clients of my San Diego frameless glass shower doors service as well.  But having glass showers may lead to more savings on energy.

So those are some of the reasons as to why single paned windows can waste more energy.So if you still have single paned windows in your houses you must replace them immediately.In the long run it will save you more money and offest the cost of purchasing the new windows.
