I’m looking into medical transcription at home because I have a 16 month old son and I take care of my 90 year old grandmother. I Feel that I need to make a better life for the both of the as well as myself and I think if I’m a work at home medical transcriptionist, I can still take care of the both of them. My son motivated me the most because I want to wake up every day and make sure that I’m his inspiration in his life. I would like to spend more time at home with the two people that mean the most to me and I know that my grandmother does not have that much time in this world. She is going to be 90 years old October 19th and she having heart surgery soon.

I think this is a great opportunity for me to start a career. I would like to pursue my career in the medical field so that I can help more people. My goals are to work with kids and in a hospital, and I would like to go back to school and get a degree. I’ve been wanting to pursue this for about a year but I been taking care of everyone else and now it’s time to take care of myself and make some money. Maybe I was not too serious, but I can remember that sensation of bursting in my veins and butterflies in my stomach every time I watched the Discovery Health Channel go to the operating room and display a medical procedure, a show that terrified my mother but intrigued and fascinated her little daughter.

As I grew up, my decision never changed. While my friends passed from wanting to be astronauts to veterinarians to police officers, I knew that I would never fit in any other occupation, and so not only them but my teachers noticed my determination and I became the most requested science tutor in my junior high. I want to contribute to the medical world by solving the mysteries of our brain. I also believe in what many people call the power of the mind. It is amazing how some people develop parts in their brain that enables them having especial qualities and abilities. SN:0MA9N2ESY

On the other side, apart from my research contribution to science, I want to be able to talk to my patients and be a humanitarian doctor; medicine should reach very single social level and economic level, to people of all the ethnicities and all languages. I believe in the healing power of laugh and of happiness. I would like to teach my patients live healthier and happier lives, and be able to teach them about their conditions and what science can do for them. I believe there is a connection between one’s mind and what I call our soul. If one can connect these two things and use them together for the sake of healing, miracles can happen I also want to know more about the human body and its intrinsic functions. Some people call me a dreamer, but I would say I am a person with clear goals. Am I too young to know what it really takes to be a doctor? No, it was clear for me since I was six years old.

I would like to become a Medical Transcriptionist because I have an extensive background in the medical field.  I have been a registered nurse for the past 15 years, and feel that a career as an MT would give me the flexibility to work from home while my children are in school, and then be able to spend time with my family in the evening when everyone is home.  With the new “health care reform”, I recently needed a surgery that my insurance originally said they would cover, and then decided they would not cover it, so I had to use credit cards for the procedure.  It was a procedure that was fairly crucial and needed to be done.  I need the extra income to pay off debts incurred because of that.

I feel it would be advantageous to work as an MT because I have teenage boys who are at a critical time in their lives, and they need guidance from their mother.  If I have to work outside my home, my teenagers will be left to “fend for themselves”.  I can’t risk that.  I need to be with them during this crucial time, if for no other reason, to make sure they don’t do stupid things that a lot of teenagers do without guidance from their parents.

I have chosen the Future MT course over the other courses offered because of the connections you have for job placement after completion of the course.  I also am interested in Future MT because of the on-line support and the home-study program.  The fact that you offer financial aid through loans and scholarships is also appealing to me.  If I had a lot of extra money to spend on a course, I wouldn’t need to pursue the training to get the certificate.  I feel this would be an ideal and logical career opportunity due to my background in the medical field.  SN:0MA9N2ESY

I would like to complete this course so that I will be able to be a work at home medical transcriptionist.  I plan to work in this field until I retire.  I am 49 years old now, and will most likely be working for another 20 years.  Especially if Social Security continues to extend the retirement age……if you know what I mean?!  The former retirement age used to be 65, or you could retire early at the age of 62.  I recently received notice that I cannot collect Social Security until the age of 67 and 10 months in order to receive full benefits from Social Security.  My husband is a few years older than I am, so he will probably retire before I do.  We love to travel and spend time together on the road seeing new and exciting places.  With a career as an online medical transcriptionist, we can still travel, and I can simply take my work with me.  I love the possibilities that presents.

Right now I am currently in school part time in the cosmetology industry.  And I have to be away from my family and I don’t like that.  Now my husband lost his job so I have to start working so a full tuition scholarship program would really help me out.  I love spending time with my family and I would really like to work where I love to be.  I have previous experience in the medical field as a volunteer for my mom’s work.  I really want to train with Future MT because I have heard a lot about it from a friend.  I really would like to get training in a lot of industries at the moment to keep all my options open.  I have a three year old, who is a terror like any other three year old and attention hungry, and a three month old, who is just such a beautiful baby who is growing every day and I really don’t want to miss anything in either of their lives by working out side of my home. As my husband goes out to find another job, I have to look for work from home jobs on the internet.  I just really think that this would be a perfect job.  And I know a lot of people say that as soon as I’m finished with cosmetology school I’m not going to do this anymore but the truth is I really enjoy the medical field.  I really want to achieve my goals in getting as much training and education in as many field that i can and that interest me.  As far as my goals in the MT field I want for right now just to get the education I need for it.  Then I want to be a work at home medical transcriptionist for a year or two or maybe even three.  After I have enough experience in the industry I want to slowly open my own MT business.  And this is my first step in reaching these goals.   My career in cosmetology and my career in the MT field both allow me to work out of my home.  It is very important for kids to have their mother in the home.  I really love spending time with my family and I really love working and making money.  I am a really hard worker and I will work and work to achieve my goals and that is what I am going to do.  With two kids it’s hard to leave them at home or in some day care and I want to be the one to teach them things not some stranger in a day care.  I always hate leaving them when I go to school so I really don’t want to work a full time job outside my home.
